The Caps were beaten 3-1 by the Carolina Hurricanes last night, who hadn't won for seven straight games - not exactly a great way to follow up the 5-1 thrashing of Atlanta, is it? Tampa Bay Lightning managed to tie Atlanta 2-2 last night, so they've closed the gap to only six points.
Tonight, the Caps face the Florida Panthers, who are probably still upset over the 12-2 hammering the Caps gave them back at MCI Center a few weeks ago. I'm back at this place tomorrow morning after two weeks off, but I'll be staying up to listen in on what should be an excellent game!
