Aston Villa legend, Dennis Mortimer - who captained the team when Villa last won the European Cup in 1982 - says the clubs current board must go - echoing what Villa fans like myself have been saying for years. Of course, the chances of that happening anytime soon are practically none existent.
If the Mighty Ducks get to the Stanley Cup Finals, it will be because of one man - their goaltender, J.S. Giguere. In the playoffs so far, he has an exceptional 1.24 GAA (Goals Against Average), and an awesome .960 Save Percentage - that's some playoff performance from the Ducks goalie.
D.C. United won the Capital Cup last night with a 1-0 win over Tottenham. That victory was their first of the season, however, technically they still failed to find the net again at home - they won thanks to an own goal! D.C. return to MLS action against the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday.
My copy of the Microsoft Office 2003 Beta 2 Kit arrived in the post yesterday. It's only trial software, and it expires on November 30th 2003, but I'm very keen to check out Outlook 2003's new Junk E-Mail Filter. I'll get around to installing it sometime tomorrow with any luck.
