Villa's 2-1 win against Fulham last night, coupled with a 2-0 home win against Leeds last Saturday, has catapulted them up to 7th in the league, and into contention for the final Champions League spot, which Liverpool currently occupy. Best of all, Villa are above the enemy from across the city by two points!
Before the 54th All Star game over the weekend (which the East won 6-4), the Caps lost 5-1 to Philadelphia. They're back in action tonight against the Hurricanes, a team they've beaten four times already this season. With the Caps just five points behind Carolina, a win tonight would close that gap to three. Go Caps!
