It has been a while since my last update, so let's get down to business. I installed Movable Type 3.0 on this site today. I think it's fantastic, and the superb new comment registration feature will finally put a stop to all those evil comment spammers that have been plaguing everyone (including me) once and for all. Ha!
Congratulations to Tampa Bay Lightning on clinching their first Stanley Cup, with a 2-1 victory over the Calgary Flames in the final game of the seven-game series. The Lightning have had an amazing season, and in my opinion the best team won in the end. However, I dislike the Bolts, so I was hoping Calgary would win...
Beset with injury problems and players absent due to international call-ups, it's fair to say my favourite MLS team, D.C. United, are having a rough time at the moment. Last Saturday's 3-0 defeat against Chicago Fire wasn't pretty. United, currently 4th in the Eastern Conference, play Colorado at home tomorrow night.
Finally, I haven't quite decided yet, but I may replace my current e-mail and news reading applications - Outlook 2000 and Outlook Express 6 - with Mozilla Thunderbird. It has some great features, (the spam filter is particularly good), and best of all, it's free! The web browser, Mozilla Firefox, has also impressed me.
