After another three losses last week to the Canadiens (

4-3 OT) the
Caps beat the Hurricanes
3-1 last night to snap an eight-game losing skid and avoid setting their longest losing streak since the '81-82 season (13 in a row). The Caps play the Hurricanes again on Wednesday.
