I saw
District 9 at the cinema on Friday evening and thought it was excellent. It's a bit silly in places, and it takes a while to get going, but those are my only real gripes. It's definitely one of the most original sci-fi films I've seen for quite a while - and thought provoking, too. Make sure you see it whilst it's on the big screen!
I've also seen
Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince (which was enjoyable - I really must finish off reading the books!),
The Taking of Pelham 123 (which was excellent) and
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (which, apart from the CGI, was terrible) in the past couple of months, but neglected to mention them here until now!
