In their last three league games
Villa have only picked up two points out of a possible nine. They drew
1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers,
1-1 with Everton and lost
2-1 to West Ham. I'm disappointed they didn't pick up more, but hopefully they can get back to winning ways against Bolton at Villa Park on Saturday.
In between those games, though, Villa did manage to book their place in quarter-finals of the Carling Cup by beating Sunderland
3-1 on penalties. Brad Guzan had a superb game. He saved four penalties - one in normal time and three in the shootout! Villa will play Portsmouth at Fratton Park for a place in the semi-finals.
