Congratulations to Brazil on winning the World Cup Final against Germany!
So, it wasn't to be but the England team did us proud.
So, England are through to the quarterfinals of the World Cup! A game against Brazil or Belgium awaits them. Currently, I'm addicted to the excellent Civilization III - it's an excellent game and it's taking up a lot of my time! I've completed my site redesign! I have a lot of pages to alter and it will take time to adjust them all but look out for GazNET v5.0 soon!
Well, I think I've done enough to at least pass the dreaded Mathematics for Computing exam! I can't believe that I now have no more studying to do - it's a most excellent feeling! Earlier this week, my good friend Vishal brought my attention to this story - it's rather serious (but also rather hilarious). However, I do believe that this story is even more hilarious!
When you're facing a difficult challenge, it is helpful and encouraging to have the support of your friends and family around you. I'm lucky to have such wonderful friends and family (you know who you are!). Tomorrow, I face a very difficult challenge indeed - the dreaded Mathematics for Computing exam - and I MUST pass. Wish me luck...
At last, England beat Argentina in a competitive football game yesterday. By pure coincidence, I pulled a muscle in my back at work during the week and was told by my doctor to have yesterday, today and tomorrow off work in order to rest. As I work part-time, I don't get a lot of sick pay so I've lost quite a bit of money, but yesterday's result has made it worthwhile!
In the past two days I have received four e-mails containing the nasty W32.Klez.H virus. Luckily, I have the brilliant Norton AntiVirus installed on my machine. If you don't have a virus checker on your machine, make sure you don't open suspicious attachments from people you don't know and maybe this pain in the backside virus will die out!
Finally, this story, brought to my attention by Vishal, is very funny.
It's the last and final day of the Golden Jubilee celebrations here in the UK and I must say last nights celebrations in London (which I watched on the TV) were excellent. It's a shame I live so far from London because I'm sure being there in person would have been a wonderful experience. I was working yesterday anyway and being a Bank Holiday it was TRIPLE PAY!
In between revising for the dreaded maths exam in ten days time, I'm working full time at this place. It's absolutely tiring me out but I really do need the money for my holiday to the party island of Ibiza. I'm going on holiday with my good friend Michael and we're both looking forward to it - we should have a most excellent time!
I'm still in limbo as to what I should do once I've finished University. Vishal reckons I should do a masters degree at this place but I really don't like the look of any of the courses there - it's just the same as what I did before except a little more advanced. I guess I still have my heart set on doing something like this as my next educational stepping stone.
Finally, I am hard at work (in between work and revision) perfecting GazNET v5.0 - the next version of this website. It's a slightly different design; works well in all the latest browsers, loads quicker and contains no annoying banner ads like the ones I have at the moment - considering I earn absolutely nothing off them anyway this seems like a very good move.
I guess I should blog something since I haven't blogged for a while! The exams I had last Monday and Tuesday went well and now I only have twelve days left until the last and biggest exam of my life - the dreaded Mathematics for Computing exam! I've already failed it three times - failing it again is unthinkable for many reasons.
The first of many reasons as to why I simply must not fail is that failing this exam would mean spending another half a semester at this place. Another reason why I mustn't fail is that it would completely screw up my future plans - even though I'm not 100% sure what I want to do once I've got my degree! Either way, having that exam looming over me would not be a good thing.
