After seven straight days in a row, working full time at this place, I now finally have some days off - three to be precise. It is a welcome break from what has been a mostly awful seven days. Those seven days have made me realise that I can no longer work where I'm constantly shit on all the time.
I could quit now, but that wouldn't be a good idea, as I need the money. So tomorrow I shall polish up my CV and begin the search for a proper job. A job where I'm not constantly shit on all the time. A job where I'm paid a decent wage. The time has come to escape once and for all...
Well, it has been a bad end to the week I must admit. That problem (see below post) got worse yesterday and even worse today. Still, tomorrow is a new day and the start of a new week. I just discovered that my machine is 50% fragmented, so I'd better go and defrag it before it slows to a crawl!
It has been one of those weeks at work. It started off well, but on Wednesday, it all started going wrong - it has gone from bad to worse ever since. I managed to solve one problem, but in doing so, I accidentally created another! What did I do to deserve this? I had one day off. I really hate working here.
I was on the verge of dropping off to sleep last night when this happened. I have to say it freaked me out because I didn't know what the hell it was until this morning! Vishal reminded me via text-message today that this time last year we were starting our final year at this place. It seems like only yesterday...
So, it's Sunday. For some it's a day of rest, a day to take it easy before work starts again on Monday. For me however, it's up early to go to work at this place. I don't mind though, especially when it's double pay on a Sunday! And besides, it's only an easy four-hour shift.
You'll notice that the site is behaving itself a little better now. The earlier problems with Blogger seem to have sorted themselves out, but commenting is still offline and I'm not sure when that will be fixed at the moment. Other than that, things are looking good.

Now this is very interesting indeed. It appears that MSN Hotmail is about to take steps to reduce the spam its users receive! It's about time the boys and girls at Hotmail acted to limit the amount of spam hitting its users inboxes. I can still remember when I first got my Hotmail account back in 1997. Spam was never a problem back then. How times change, eh?
Tomorrow, GazNET v5.0 will debut on the Internet. Between the hours of 17:00 and 19:00 GMT, this site will probably behave a little erratically. This will be due to myself moving/deleting files and uploading files to the server. So, if you get an error message of some sort, don't worry! Things should settle down quite quickly once everything is uploaded.
Did you know that Prince William is distantly related to US President George W. Bush? I certainly didn't. This article about learner drivers worries me. It's a good idea, but another test on top of the existing practical and theory tests is just too much! I'm going to have to learn to drive quickly! Thanks to Vishal for those two links!

So, it's the day after the embarrassing night before (see below post). All I can say is that we will have revenge at Villa Park! The "Slapper" worm is causing much angst in the Internet world today. Now, I don't know about you, but I think that's a superb name for a computer worm! I wonder if it's female by any chance? Just kidding.
A year ago today, men from an evil terrorist organisation, called Al-Qaeda, committed barbaric acts of terrorism against the United States of America. Thousands of innocent people died. Today, on the first anniversary of these attacks, we remember those who died, and we think of the loved ones they've left behind. They will be remembered for years to come.
Most people will never forget where they were at the time the attacks took place - I certainly won't. What I saw that day on my television still haunts me, and I pray that this will never happen again. We must never let the terrorists win. I will never forget September 11th 2001. The world will never forget September 11th 2001. God Bless America.
