I'm quite happy with today's 2-2 draw at Everton. It was always going to be a tough game, and Villa did very well indeed to twice come from behind. Best of all, it's still possible to grab that all important fifth place. If Villa beat Wigan at Villa Park next week, and Everton lose to Arsenal, Villa will go fifth on goal difference!

Microsoft has released to manufacturing Windows XP Service Pack 3, and it's expected to be available via Windows Update next week on April 29th. This is excellent news. I really like Windows XP - it has been absolutely rock solid for me right from day one - and I have no intention of purchasing Windows Vista any time soon.

What a fantastic result! Villa absolutely destroyed They Who Must Not Be Named 5-1 at Villa Park today. I've lost my voice and I've pulled a muscle with all the celebrating! A European place is still possible. Villa can catch Everton, who are 3 points ahead in 5th position, and they play them next Saturday - another big game.

It's the Second City Derby tomorrow. My beloved Villa versus They Who Must Not Be Named. The battle commences at midday at Villa Park, and it promises to be a cracking game of football. I will be there, of course, cheering on the Villa. I really hope there won't be any trouble, but I can't see it being entirely trouble free.

Another of my favourite singers, Sarah McLachlan, is releasing a new album at the end of this month called Rarities, B-Sides & Other Stuff Volume 2. I thought Volume 1 contained some really good stuff, so I'll be picking up my copy. It's not a studio album as I was hoping it would be, but I'm sure that's in the pipeline...

I was quite ill with the flu all last week, hence the lack of updates here. I'm better now though, and recent Villa results - a 4-0 win against Bolton, and Saturday's 6-0 hammering of Derby - have been better too! That should give the boys plenty of confidence for this Sunday's big game against They Who Must Not Be Named.

Congratulations to my favourite female singer, Mariah Carey, on scoring the 18th number one of her career! She has now overtaken Elvis Presley, and is only two behind the record set by The Beetles. I think the new single, Touch My Body, is really good, and I can't wait for the new album to be released in two weeks!

Well, after getting thoroughly hammered 4-0 away at Old Trafford last Saturday evening, my beloved Villa have a must win game against struggling Bolton Wanderers at Villa Park this Saturday. Villa won't make Europe now, but hopefully, if they win most of their remaining games, they might secure the Intertoto spot.
