I've recently seen Angels & Demons and Drag Me To Hell at the cinema. Even though bits from the novel were either missed out or changed I really enjoyed Angels & Demons. As for Drag Me To Hell, well, let's just say it's nowhere near as scary as it has been made out to be. To be honest, I thought it was quite silly in places.

Villa beat a woeful Newcastle side 1-0 at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon. Everton also won, though, so Villa finished the season where they finished last year - in 6th place. It has been a good season, and hopefully, if O'Neill manages to add some more quality to the squad in the summer, next season will be even better!

As the end of the season fast approaches, Villa are still struggling to win games. They lost 3-1 away at Fulham two weeks ago, and drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough over the weekend. Villa can still finish 5th, though, and they can't finish any lower than 6th. The last game of the season is against Newcastle at Villa Park on Sunday.

I've seen several movies at the cinema over the past couple of weeks: The Uninvited, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Star Trek and, most recently, State of Play. I enjoyed all four of them, but the one I recommend the most - and you absolutely must see it at the cinema - is Star Trek. Expect a sequel in the very near future!

Villa have finally won a game again - and about time, too! They made hard work of it, but they beat Hull City 1-0 at Villa Park on Bank Holiday Monday thanks to John Carew's 34th minute strike. I hope that gives them the confidence to win their remaining three games now - starting with Fulham this coming Saturday afternoon.

Argh! Something terrible happened today. They Who Must Not Be Named have been promoted back to the Premier League. I suppose with Wolverhampton also getting promoted it can only be good for football in the Midlands. And, of course, it's a guaranteed 12 points for Villa (who play Hull City tomorrow) next season!
