One of my three cats, William, died suddenly last night. For me, the great sorrow of losing him is lessened somewhat by the knowledge that after finding him as a stray, the last four years of his life were spent in a comfortable, warm and loving place he could call home. He will be greatly missed by everyone. RIP Will.

After an absolutely fabulous
2-1 victory at home against Chelsea last Saturday afternoon, I'm confident Villa can follow it up by grabbing all three points against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux this Saturday. It won't be an easy game, of course, but I can't see Wolves beating Villa - even though they're at home.

My copy of
Windows 7 Home Premium arrived in the post today - two days ahead of the official release date and several days before I was expecting it! I can't wait to get it up and running on my machine, but I'm going to wait until the weekend so I can give it my full attention (plus I have to backup all my stuff first!).

I've recently seen
Pandorum and
Zombieland at the cinema. Pandorum was quite enjoyable and it reminded me a lot of the Alien movies. Zombieland was very silly, but absolutely hilarious. I think it's the funniest movie I've seen so far this year - funnier than
The Hangover and even the brilliant
Role Models. Recommended!

The
Caps got their season off to a fantastic start last week with a
4-1 victory against the Boston Bruins and
6-4 victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs. They couldn't make it three wins in a row against the Philadelphia Flyers last night though - they lost
6-5 in overtime - but it looks like it was one hell of a game of hockey!

Villa drew
1-1 with Manchester City last night in a fantastic game of football. It was end to end stuff with both sides having chances to win the game. Villa took the lead after just 15 minutes, but City eventually equalised before Villa could score a second. I think a draw was a fair result. Villa play Chelsea next in two weeks time.
