Villa are through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after beating Crystal Palace
3-1 on Wednesday evening. Their opponents will be Reading. Tomorrow, Villa take on Manchester United in the final of the Carling Cup at Wembley. I will, of course, be there. It'll be a tough game, but I'm confident the Villa will bring the cup home.

Villa thrashed Burnley
5-2 on Sunday afternoon. They didn't play all that well in the first half, but they stepped up a gear in the second half, and put Burnley to the sword with four goals in the space of just 13 minutes! The FA Cup fifth round replay against Crystal Palace is up next on Wednesday evening at Villa Park.

The game against Manchester United ended in a
1-1 draw, and to be honest, I was disappointed that
Villa didn't win. Still, a point is better than none. Earlier today, Villa drew
2-2 with Crystal Palace in the FA Cup fifth round. The replay will be at Villa Park in a couple of weeks time. Burnley are up next on Saturday afternoon.

Villa drew
1-1 with Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend. It was important that they didn't lose so they could keep in the hunt for a Champions League place, and I'd have taken a point before the game. Manchester United are the visitors to Villa Park tomorrow evening. A point would be good; three would be even better.

Well done to the New Orleans Saints on beating the Indianapolis Colts
31-17 to win their first Super Bowl. What an upset - I don't think anyone was expecting that! Meanwhile, in Ice Hockey, the
Caps extended their winning streak to 14 games by beating the Pittsburgh Penguins
5-4 yesterday. The NHL record is 16 games.
