Villa beat They Who Must Not Be Named
1-0 yesterday afternoon at Villa Park. That's six consecutive derby wins now - and long may it continue! The win keeps Villa in the hunt for that final Champions League place, but they'll have to beat Manchester City away this Saturday to have any chance of finishing fourth.

A place in the Champions League is still a possibility for
Villa after they beat Hull City
2-0 last night. And to stay firmly in the chasing pack, they absolutely must beat They Who Must Not Be Named on Sunday afternoon - nothing but three points will do. It promises to be one hell of a derby game and I am really looking forward to it!

Villa drew
2-2 at home to Everton last Wednesday evening, and beat Portsmouth
2-1 yesterday afternoon to keep their (slim) chance of grabbing the final Champions League spot alive. Villa play Hull City next on Wednesday evening before taking on They Who Must Not Be Named at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.

I went to see
Clash of The Titans at the cinema on Friday evening. I really enjoyed the film, but I was disappointed with the 3D effects. I don't think I'll be watching another 3D film in a hurry if that's the sort standard I can expect - the 3D in the adverts was better! It definitely wasn't worth the price of the ticket.

Despite performing much better than they did in the Carling Cup final several weeks ago, once again
Villa came away from Wembley disappointed after losing
3-0 to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final. The score line wasn't a fair reflection on the game, though, and Villa were denied a blatant penalty in the first half.

Villa bounced back from last week's defeat at Chelsea with a gritty
1-0 win away at Bolton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon. It was a much needed three points - especially as the teams around Villa dropped points. A place in the Champions League is still mathematically possible, but I'm not getting my hopes up...
